Men’s Golf Returns to Action at the Tiger Invitational Starting Sunday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss men's golf team returns to action beginning Sunday for the Tiger Invitational at the par 72, 7,289-yard Grand National Lakes Course in Opelika, Ala.
The 54-hole event will feature 18 holes over a three-day period, starting Sunday with tee times beginning at 9 a.m., Sunday.
The Golden Eagles will be a part of a 17-team field that includes No. 7 ranked and host Auburn, Chattanooga, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Georgia State, Lamar, Louisiana Tech, North Alabama, Oakland, Richmond, South Alabama, Stetson, Toledo, Troy, UNCW and Wichita State.
Southern Miss looks to stay with the same lineup that they have used over their last two tournaments, which includes Cameron Clarke, Ryan Dupuy, Robbie Latter, Thongpipat Rattanayanon and Bennett Ruby.
The team looks to rebound from a ninth-place showing two weeks ago at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic in Houston, Texas, where they finished ninth. Southern Miss has won two team titles this season, including the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate and the Little Rock Invitational.
