Next Up for Track & Field is the Music City Challenge

The Golden Eagles will compete at Vanderbilt on Feb. 14 and 15.
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Golden Eagles of Southern Miss Track & Field head to Vanderbilt to compete in the two-day Music City Challenge at the Multipurpose Center.
The Golden Eagles will compete in both days of the meet, Feb. 14 and 15 in Nashville, Tenn. This will be the last meet of the regular-season for the track and field program.Â
Southern Miss will be sending 19 women and 17 men to the meet. They will compete in the meet as follows:
Day 1
W Weight Throw - Isabella Simonelli, Logan Lewis, Kameliah Style
W High Jump - Zaria Jones
M High Jump - Eric Richards
W Long Jump - Callie Jones, Grace Parker, Ashlee Osaji
M Long Jump - Lance Williams, Eric Washington, DJ Hurd
Day 2
W Mile - Monika Gebarzewska, Sarah McMillon
W Shot Put - Logan Lewis
W 800m - Regen McGee, Savannah McMillon, Katelyn Cartwright
M 800m - Dylan Evans
W 400m - Taylor Harris, Maresha Chandler, Aireanna Taylor
M 400m - Landon Chalden, Ashler Marshall, Kacey Spinks
W 60m H - Jasmine Griffin, Callie Jones, Marquasha Myers
M 60m H - Keirston Paige, Christian Strong

The Golden Eagles have had success so far throughout the regular indoor season, with multiple records broken, personal bests set, and first places won. Eric Richards and Sandra Szpott continue as the standouts for the squad, while multiple newcomers are also making their mark.Â
