Head Cross Country Coach Aaron Kindt
"I'm very pleased with the team as a whole, they had a really great team effort. They did a great job finding each other and grouping up in this race. I knew if we ran together we could finish as a top-10 team, but we had to have a really tight team finish in order to do that. Sandra was excellent up at the front finishing top-15 in a really stacked field. She has potential to have a great year. I was also pleased with Kate, Regen, Monika, Emma Kate and Lina working together and really putting together a great team performance. We're off to a really good start; I like how we've run as a team so far and I look forward to getting back to work and seeing what we can do in a few weeks."
Â
Sandra Szpott finished in the top-20 with a time of 21:47.2, placing 14th. Kate Mattox finished in 53rd with a time of 22:34.8, and Regen McGee was in 56th at 22:38.3.
