Track and Field Laces Up to Host Southern Miss Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Southern Miss Track and Field will be hosting their annual Southern Miss Invitational Friday and Saturday. Friday's events will feature the hammer throw, triple jump, and javelin events, while Saturday will host all remaining events.

Friday's hammer throw will begin at 2 p.m., while Saturday's events will begin at 10 a.m., featuring Senior Day recognitions on Saturday. Southern Miss will honor 11 seniors on senior day, with celebrations will begin at 11:40 a.m. prior to all running events.

Southern Miss is celebrating 11 seniors and their contributions to the program. The seniors athletes are represented by Amaria Bankhead, Keon Buck, Piers Cameon, Javel Fullerton, Nikoby Johnson, Maria Kaylor, Cadence Lapp, Taliyah Lindsay, Isaiah Lowrey, Kennedi Sanders-Washington and Thomas Sensley.
