Track and Field Prepares for Arkansas Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss Track and Field heads to Fayetteville, Arkansas to make their mark at the Arkansas Invitational. The meet will take place at the Randal Tyson Track Center.
Last time out, the Golden Eagles broke two records and earned eight wins combined. The men's five wins were led by Valentino Rudolph in the 300 meter dash, while the women's three wins included Emme Bates' record breaking performance in the 1000 meter race.
The Golden Eagles will head to Fayetteville with 46 total athletes, 23 men and 23 women. The meet consists of 15 other teams alongside Southern Miss, including Sun Belt opponent Texas State and future conference rival Louisiana Tech.
The meet will kick off with the 60-meter hurdle preliminaries at 12:30 p.m., while the men's 4x400 relay will be the final event of the meet at 8:30 p.m., respectively. Live results for the meet will be available at https://flashresults.com/2026_Meets/Indoor/01-16_ArkansasInvite/index.htm.
