Cross Country Finishes Top 10 at Seminole Invitational

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Women's cross country placed nine runners in the field at the Seminole Invitational on Friday, led by Emme Bates, who finished 31st overall with a time of 22:15.9. The team earned a 10th place finish out of 39 teams.
Addison Rainey was the Golden Eagles' second finisher, crossing in 47th place at 22:38.8. Alexane Hunte followed in 82nd with a 23:08.7, while Lexi Cooper was close behind in 84th at 23:09.9.
Cadence Lapp finished 89th with a 23:13.2, and Corinne Croy placed 90th in 23:15.7. Indy Grajalez was Southern Miss' seventh runner, clocking 23:24.8 for 107th place.
Also competing were Hayley Datema, who finished 157th at 24:20.8, and Presley Miller, who closed the Golden Eagles' lineup in 206th with a 25:16.5.
Southern Miss will return to action at the Crimson Classic, hosted by Alabama in Tuscaloosa, on Oct. 17.
