Cross Country Takes 10th at Crimson Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Southern Miss women's cross country finished 10th with 305 points in the 6K race at the Crimson Classic on Friday at the Harry Pritchett Running Course.
Emme Bates once again led the Golden Eagles, clocking a time of 21:00.4 to place 36th overall. Freshman Addison Rainey and Lexi Cooper crossed together in 21:38.8 to finish 62nd and 63rd, respectively.
Cadence Lapp followed in 87th with a time of 22:02.1, while freshman Alexane Hunte rounded out the scoring in 22:14.9 to place 99th. Indy Grajalez (22:51.5) and Presley Miller (24:07.1) also competed for the Golden Eagles.
The Golden Eagles return to action Oct. 31 at the Sun Belt Cross Country Championships at Graham Creek Nature Preserve in Foley, Ala.
