Southern Miss Cross Country Lines Up for Southern Showcase

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss cross country opens its season Friday morning at the Southern Showcase, hosted by Jacksonville State in Huntsville, Alabama. The 5K race begins at 8:30 a.m. at John Hunt Cross Country Park.
The Golden Eagles last competed in the Southern Showcase in 2024, when Maria Kaylor led the team with a time of 18:24.93. Joining her on a return to the course are teammates Emme Bates, Lexi Cooper, Olivia Smith and Sylvia White.
