Track & Field Heads to Mobile for South Alabama’s Last Chance Meet

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss' men's and women's outdoor track and field teams head to Mobile, Ala., for South Alabama's Last Chance Meet on Sunday at Jaguar Track. Aptly titled, the meet is the last of the calendar before the NCAA East Regional Championships begin on May 28.

Southern Miss is joined by a quintet of fellow Sun Belt Conference schools including host South Alabama, Arkansas State, Louisiana, Troy and ULM. Timing and results will be handled by Port City Timing. The Golden Eagles will have 24 entries (9 men's, 15 women's) at the one-day event.

Sunday's action begins with a 3:30 p.m. start in field events, beginning with men's shot put. Running events begin are slated for a 4:15 p.m. start with the women's 4x100 meter relay leading things off.
