Women's Tennis Hosts ULM in Final Match of the Season

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss women's tennis (4-13, 0-10 Sun Belt) returns home for its final match of the season, hosting the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks (3-14, 0-10 Sun Belt) on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Southern Miss Tennis Complex.

The Golden Eagles look to end the season on a high note and snap an eight-match skid against the Warhawks, who enter the contests on an 11-match losing streak.

ULM's last win came on March 1 against Jackson State. The Warhawks are led by Vanja Cado, who owns a 5-5 singles record.

The Golden Eagles are led in doubles by the pair of Miranda Xu and Sakura Sudo, who have posted a 7-4 record this season. Xu also leads Southern Miss with a 6-3 mark in singles competition.

Saturday's match will feature several fan promotions, including signed posters, Southern Miss Tennis bracelets, and exclusive Southern Miss tennis t-shirts for the first 15 fans in attendance.
