Women's Tennis Falls in Final Road Match at Arkansas State

JONESBORO, Ark.-Southern Miss women's tennis (4-13, 0-10 Sun Belt) fell 5-0 on the road to Arkansas State (12-9, 5-5 Sun Belt) on Saturday morning at the Arkansas State Tennis Complex.
The Golden Eagles came up short in doubles play to the Red Wolves, dropping the first two matches to give Arkansas State the opening point. The third match featuring Angelina Blinova and Jordan Parker was left unfinished with the duo trailing closely at 4-3.
In singles, the Red Wolves secured four straight-set wins against Hannah Chambers, Malannia Vashkevich, Miranda Xu and Talia Wunnenberg to clinch the match. Parker and Sakura Sudo's matches were left unfinished at the No. 4 and No. 6 positions.
