Developed on the site of the historic Waverly Mansion, the club is a result of the vision of the George and Marcia Bryan Family, who sought to create a world-class destination for golf and hospitality in the heart of the Mississippi Black Prairie. The club has been a fixture among the various "Best of" lists published by the biggest names in Golf Media over the years, including Golfweek's Top-100, Golfweek's #1 Residential Golf Course in Mississippi, Golf Digest's Top-100 and Golf Digest's #1 Golf Course in Mississippi
