Beach Volleyball Set for 2024 Sun Belt Conference Championship

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss beach volleyball heads to Huntsville, Ala., for the opening round of play at the 2024 Sun Belt Conference Beach Volleyball Championship. Play begins against three-seed Coastal Carolina on April 25 at 1:30 p.m. at the John Hunt Park Sand Volleyball Complex.

The Golden Eagles meet the Chanticleers for the second time this season to open tournament play. Coastal Carolina took the first match in a 4-1 decision at the Sun Belt Mid-Season Seeding Tournament. Laurel Dennis and Sadie McAda took the lone point of the day in a two-set win at the second flight.
Coastal Carolina is fresh off a 2-2 weekend at the Gamecock Grand Slam, defeating Jacksonville and No. 20 South Carolina with losses to No. 15 Georgia State and No. 10 LSU.
First-year head coach Collin Wilson has led the Chanticleers to the most wins in a season in program history ahead of the Sun Belt Championships.

A win means Southern Miss will take on the winner of (2) UNCW and (7) ULM on April 25 at 4:30 p.m. CT.
A loss to Coastal Carolina sets up a 11:30 a.m. CT match against the loser of (2) UNCW and (7) ULM on April 26.
