HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Golden Eagle beach volleyball fell to (RV) Coastal Carolina after a hard-fought five duals against the Chanticleers. Southern Miss was able to force two set threes but was ultimately unable to down the Chanticleers attack, falling 5-0.

Coastal Carolina (25-8) won on all five flights, sweeping on flights three, four and five. On court one, Laurel Dennis and Sadie McAda were able to take a 24-22 decision in the second set to force a third set. The duo fell 15-12 in the final frame.

In the second flight, Ola Chudzik and Sarah Murczek also forced a third set decision, but came up just short in the third with a final score of 15-13.

Southern Miss takes on (7) ULM tomorrow, April 26, at 10:30 a.m. The winner of that match will take on (5) Mercer at 1:30 p.m.
