Five Golden Eagles Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Five Southern Miss beach volleyball student-athletes earned spots on the CSC Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team as announced by College Sport Communicators today.
Southern Miss' five honorees are: Laurel Dennis, Y-Nhu Do, Sadie McAda, Zuzanna Michalska and Jaden White.
Dennis, a junior from Gulfport, Mississippi, recently competed her undergraduate degree and is now studying in the master of business administration program at Southern Miss. She earned All-Sun Belt Conference First Team honors this season after leading Southern Miss at the top flight with a record of 19-18. She also earned a bid to the AVCA Pairs National Championship in the fall.
Do, a sophomore from Cary, North Carolina, is working towards her bachelor's degree in accounting at Southern Miss. She competed at the fourth and fifth pairings this season with an overall record of 14-18. She earned a spot on the Sun Belt Conference All-Tournament Team after her 3-1 performance at the championship event.
McAda, a junior from Pleasanton, Texas, is working towards a bachelors' degree in kinesiology (exercise science). She earned First-Team honors alongside Dennis this year as the other half of Southern Miss' top flight.
Michalska, a senior from Warsaw, Poland, graduate from Southern Miss this spring with her bachelor's degree in general business with a business management certificate. She led Southern Miss with 22 wins as one half of the Golden Eagles' second pairing and finished the year with a 22-15 record. She and her partner earned Second Team honors from the Sun Belt.
White, a sophomore from West Palm Beach, Florida, is studying for her bachelor's degree in health sciences and biology with a minor in business administration. She played across the third, fourth and fifth flights for an overall record of 18 wins and 14 losses. She was 9-9 at the 3s, 1-0 at the 4s and 8-5 at the 5s.
Southern Miss' five selections are second-most in the Sun Belt Conference this season and most since beach volleyball's addition to the CSC At-Large Division.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. In order to qualify for selection, athletes must be at least a sophomore in the class room, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher throughout their entire academic career and, for beach volleyball specifically, participate in at least 75 percent of an institution's team scoring events.
