Beach Volleyball Heads to Youngsville for the 2024 Sugar Beach Bash

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss beach volleyball returns to action on Friday, March 15, for the first of two days at Southeastern's Sugar Beach Bash. Competition begins tomorrow at 1 p.m. against Sun Belt foe Stephen F. Austin.

The Golden Eagles meet the Lady Jacks for the second time in program history, previously meeting in 2022 in Tucson, Ariz. SFA is off to a 5-7 start and, like Southern Miss, enters the weekend on a four-game losing streak. The Jacks finished 0-4 at last weekend's Horned Frogs Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Privateers are familiar foes of the Golden Eagles with UNO holding a 6-4 advantage in the all-time series. Southern Miss is in the midst of a two-game losing skid to New Orleans after going 1-2 against the Privateers last season.
UNO finished last weekend 2-2 at the Wheeler Beach Bash in Columbia, S.C.
