Cross Country Heads to Crimson Classic
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Southern Miss cross country team will compete in the Crimson Classic, hosted by Alabama, at 9:20 a.m. Friday at Harry Pritchett Running Park. All 10 Golden Eagles' roster athletes will race in the 6K event.
In their last outing, Southern Miss placed 22nd out of 49 teams at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Alabama. Maria Kaylor, who has led the team this season, finished at 18:24.93.
At last year's Crimson Classic, Southern Miss placed 16th, finishing with 483 points. Veterans Sarah Parnell, Kristina Stojanovic and Sylvia White all competed in that race.
