Men's Basketball Travels to Troy for Saturday Matinee

TROY, Ala. – Riding a three-game winning streak, the Southern Miss (9-7, 3-1 Sun Belt) men's basketball team travels to Alabama to take on Troy (10-6, 4-0 Sun Belt) at Trojan Arena on Saturday afternoon. Tip-off is slated for 4 p.m. on ESPN+. The game is part of a doubleheader with the Troy women's basketball team playing James Madison at 2 p.m.

The Golden Eagle are coming off a comeback win at ULM on Thursday night that featured a pair of 20-point games from Donovan Ivory (22) and Austin Crowley (20). The duo took a halftime deficit and turned it into a 13-point win. Southern Miss blocked 10 shots for the first time since the 2009 season and Tegra Izay was the first Golden Eagle to swat five shots since the 2021-22 season.

- VIctor Hart picked up a career-high 14 rebounds to go along with 11 points. The double-double was his fourth of the season

- Curbelo dished out 20 assists over two games against James Madison and Georgia State
