BATON ROUGE, La. – Southern Miss beach volleyball wraps day one in Baton Rouge with a 2-1 performance with top flight pairing Vanessa Hurnikova and Ola Chudzik finished the day 3-0.
Game One – Southern Miss 3, New Orleans 2
The Golden Eagles picked up their 10th win of the campaign via a 3-2 victory over New Orleans (11-8, 5-2 Southland).
Ola Chudzik and Vanessa Hurnikova, Hallie Phelan and Kai Norman, Ashlyn Rough and Madison Cassidy all picked up two-set victories to pick up Southern Miss' first victory of the day.
