Track & Field Returns to Nashville for Final Meet Before SBC Championships

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Southern Miss indoor track & field returns to Nashville and Vanderbilt's David Williams II Recreation and Wellness Center for the second time this season. In their last trip to the Music City, the Golden Eagles set a new school record in the Pentathlon and multiple new personal bests.

The indoor team returns to action after last competing at South Alabama's Jaguar Invitational in Birmingham, Ala. Coach Jon Stuart's crew looks to lock in their final meet before competing against the rest of the Sun Belt Conference in Birmingham on Feb. 20 and 21.

The Music City Challenge, hosted by Vanderbilt, features 48 participants with events beginning Friday, Feb. 10 and finishing on Saturday, Feb. 11.

Fans attending in person can park for free at the 25th Avenue Garage through the Highland Avenue entrance on floors 8-10. Spectators should enter through the SEC lobby on the north end of the multipurpose facility.
