The Golden Eagles Travel to Face Ole Miss

HATTIESBURG, Miss—The Southern Miss women's soccer team heads to Oxford, Miss., to take on Ole Miss for their last match before conference play Sunday, Sept. 11, at 2 p.m.
Last Time on the Pitch:
The Black & Gold lost 2-0 against Mississippi State Thursday, Sept. 8. There was no goal action in the first half, but the Bulldogs broke into the scoring column at 54:04.
Mississippi State netted its second goal of the match in the 61st minute. The Bulldogs kept their two-goal lead in the second stanza, winning the match.
The Bulldogs led the match in shots 12-2 and notched their seventh shutout of the season.
Series History:
Ole Miss leads the series 10-0-0, with matches dating back to 1997.
Last Meeting:
The Golden Eagles and the Rebels last met on the pitch Sept. 3, 2017, at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium. Ole Miss managed a clean sheet 8-0 and Rebel midfielder Channing Foster grabbed a hat trick.
