Todd sets sights on NCAA Indoor Championships

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss field athlete Corvell Todd competes at his second-straight NCAA Indoor Championships tomorrow afternoon at the Birmingham CrossPlex with the men's high jump slated for 12:30 p.m. CT.
"Corvell is coming off a personal best at the Conference USA Championships and is in great form," head coach Jon Stuart said. "He's taken all the right steps to prepare himself for the opportunity that's in front of him. It's a venue that he's familiar with, so we're excited to see what he can accomplish."
Todd cleared 7'3.75" at the C-USA Indoor Championships to earn his second-straight indoor high jump title to secure his spot at the NCAA Indoor Championships. For Southern Miss, it marked the fourth-straight title in the men's high jump, as Todd joined Eric Richards (2019 & 2020) as back-to-back champions.
The Byhalia, Miss. native enters competition with the fourth-best mark in the country looking to build off a fifth-place finish a season ago at the 2021 NCAA Indoor Championships, where he cleared the bar at 7'3.0".
