Southern Miss to Finish Homestand on Monday with Marshall

HATTIESBURG, Miss. --Â The Southern Miss men's basketball team will finish its four-game homestand on Monday night against Marshall. Tipoff from Reed Green Coliseum is slated for 7 p.m.

The Need to Know
- Southern Miss dropped the first three games in its current home stint -- Western Kentucky (77-87), UTSA in overtime (79-98), and UTEP (70-84).Â
- Junior Isaih Moore has gone for 25 points in two of his last three games. He went for 25 points and 12 rebounds against WKU, and 25 points with 10 rebounds against UTEP. Against UTSA, Moore went for 15 points, seven rebounds, and six blocks.
- Moore's 25-point, 12-rebound performance against WKU marked only the fourth time a Conference USA player has recorded those numbers in a single game this season. Louisiana Tech's Kenneth Lofton, Jr. has done so twice (36-17, 31-14), while Rice's Max Fiedler has done it once (30-12).Â
- Against UAB on Feb. 10, Tyler Stevenson knocked down his first-career three-pointer. It was the fifth-ever three-point attempt by the Columbus, Miss. native.Â
- Prior to turning the ball over 18 times against UTEP, Southern Miss had posted a season low in turnovers with seven against Rice, then nine against FIU, UAB, and WKU.Â
- The Golden Eagles have outrebounded each of their last three opponents, including a plus-seven margin against UTEP on Saturday.Â
- DeAndre Pinckney has scored at least 12 points in each of his last five games, including 12 against UTEP on Saturday.Â
