HATTIESBURG, Miss.--The Southern Miss women's soccer team (1-7-3, 1-3-2 Sun Belt) heads to Mobile, Ala. to play Sun Belt opponent South Alabama (7-1-6, 3-0-3 Sun Belt) on Oct.16.
Last Time Out
In the first four minutes of play, Southern Miss struck first when midfielder Blessing Kingsley slotted the ball into the middle-center of the net for her first goal of the season and seventh for her career.
There was no goal action for the remainder of the period, as both teams exited the field with the Golden Eagles up 1-0.
