Women's Soccer team Falls to LSU

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss women's soccer team (2-1-0) played its second away match of the 2021 season on Friday, Feb. 19 at 3:00 p.m. (CT) at the LSU Soccer Stadium. The Golden Eagles fell to LSU in a 1-0 contest.
The difference in the game came with less than two minutes left in the first half when an LSU forward found the back of the net. This proved to be the difference in the game and would remain the only goal scored throughout the rest of the match.
The Golden Eagles play next in Birmingham, Ala. against conference rival UAB February 26 at 6:00 p.m. (CT).
