The Golden Eagles head to Houston to take part in the Cougars' meet.
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Golden Eagles of Southern Miss Track & Field head to Houston, Texas to take part in the University of Houston's G5 & Super 22 Invitational on Friday and Saturday. They will join over 25 other teams in Yeoman Fieldhouse for the meet.
The Golden Eagles will travel 22 women and 16 men to the Invitational. Southern Miss had six event wins at the last meet, the Samford Open. The Golden Eagles look to replicate that type of finish on Friday and Saturday in Houston.
Southern Miss will be competing in various events on the weekend. A list of the events that Golden Eagles will be competing in can be found below. Some of the student-athletes will be racing and competing in a different section than others, where they will be competing at a higher level.
