The program will host the first of two outdoor meets at the Marshall Bell Track Complex.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss track and field program hosts their first home meet of the outdoor season on Mar. 29-30 at the Marshall Bell Track Complex in the Southern Miss Invitational.

Southern Miss has competed on the road twice this outdoor season so far, but get to compete on their own turf as they host about 15 teams for the Southern Miss Invitational.

Friday will be a short afternoon of competition, with the triple jump, hammer, and javelin taking place, starting at 3:30pm. Day two of the meet will be a full day of action, starting with high jump at 11:30. The schedule will be rolling as the day goes on.

We're excited to host the first of two home meets this outdoor season this weekend against some good competitors. Our athletes are excited to get to compete at home and we expect a good local crowd to come watch the action.
