Southern Miss T&F Heads to Bulldog Relays

The Golden Eagles look forward to the two-day meet at Mississippi State.
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss Track & Field squad heads to Starkville, Miss. for the two-day Bulldog Relays held by Mississippi State.
The Golden Eagles will be sending 23 female student-athletes and 16 male student-athletes to the Bulldog Relays. This will be the second meet of the outdoor season for Southern Miss.
Also competing at the meet are student-athletes from Alabama, Alcorn State, UAB, West Alabama, Arkansas State, Jackson State, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Lane College, ULM, LA Tech, Memphis, Meridian CC, Millsaps, Mississippi College, Mississippi Valley State, Mobile, New Orleans, Southern University, Tennessee Tech, UT-Martin, Troy and William Carey.
Last time out, the Golden Eagles had individuals place well at the Jaguar Opener, with multiple top-10 finishers across the board. Chenelle Ricketts finished first in the 200m with a time 24.69. Mamadou Seck finished second in the men's 400m hurdles at 55.32. Jasmine Griffin and Marquasha Myers had third and fourth place finishes, respectively, in the 100m hurdles. Keiyana Gaskin placed third in the 100m and Christian Strong placed third in the 110m hurdles.

The Golden Eagles will run, throw and jump again on the weekend of March 29-30 at home in the Southern Miss Invitational.
