"I thought the girls ran really hard today. This was the same course as last year and girls were running 20–30 seconds faster across our top-5. Sandra didn't quite have the day she wanted for us at the front, but she has a lot to be proud of this season and even more to be excited about heading into track. Lina and Emma Kate were really strong again for us. EK was 30 seconds faster than last year and Lina over a minute faster than what she ran last time on this course. That shows you how far these two have come in the last year. Kate and Monika ran strong races, keeping the gaps close to give us a strong team finish. I'm proud of what this team was able to accomplish this fall. I'm very excited about this group heading into the indoor track season."
The NCAA Regionals closes out the 2019 cross country season for the Golden Eagles. Now, the team will join their track counterparts to prepare for the upcoming indoor track season in January.
