Southern Miss Travels to Miami for C-USA Match Against FIU

The Golden Eagles and the Panthers will kick-off at 7:00 p.m. (ET)/6:00 p.m. (CT)
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss soccer team (7-2 overall) (1-1 C-USA) will travel to Miami, Fla. for a Friday night contest against C-USA opponent Florida International University. The Golden Eagles and the Panthers will kick-off at the FIU Soccer Stadium at 7:00 p.m. (ET)/6:00 p.m. (CT) on Friday, September 28.

In their last match, the Golden Eagles fell to C-USA opponent North Texas by a final score of 3-0. Goalkeeper Kendell Mindnich provided a bright spot for the Golden Eagles after recording a career-high seven saves in the match. Mindnich was named C-USA Goalkeeper of the Week on Monday, September 17.
