"I'm really pleased with today's effort. The team ran really hard as a group and were a strong pack led by Sandra Szpott. She ran a very strong first race as a Golden Eagle despite having a long track season and with not a whole lot as far as training for this season. I'm looking forward to watching her progress. Kate Mattox also ran a good race coming off an abbreviated summer and not a lot of training after a long track season; she ran a gutsy race. Lina May our No. 4 ran a heck of a race in the conditions we had today. To be top-50 in a field like this in a big college invitational is really impressive and I'm really excited about her future. Monika Gebarzewska is coming into her own, it's huge for us for her to place 33rd as you can see her confidence and belief in herself growing. We're in a really good spot right now as we start heading into the meaty part of the season, I like where we're at."
