Southern Miss Set to Host C-USA Opponent Charlotte on Friday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss soccer team (8-3-0, 2-2-0 C-USA) will host C-USA opponent Charlotte (8-3-0, 4-0-0 C-USA) on Friday, October 5 at 4:00 p.m. (CT) at the Southern Miss Track & Field and Soccer Complex.

The last time out
The Golden Eagles last took the pitch on Sunday, September 30 against Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton, Fla. and fell to the Owls by a final score of 2-0.

The match proved to be a tough defensive battle between both teams the entire first half of play as the half ended with both teams knotted 0-0.

Goals at the 46:03 mark and the 61:24 mark in the match eventually propelled Florida Atlantic to victory.
