Southern Miss Soccer Ready to Take on UTSA on Thursday

The Golden Eagles and the Roadrunners will kick-off at 4:00 p.m. (CT)
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss Golden Eagles (9-3-0, 3-2-0 C-USA) will take on the UTSA Roadrunners (5-6-1, 1-3-1 C-USA) on Thursday, October 11 at the Southern Miss Track & Field and Soccer Complex. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. (CT).

The last time out
The last time that the Golden Eagles took the pitch, they came away with a 1-0 victory over Charlotte, who at the time was ranked #1 in C-USA.

The match was a tough defensive battle for 90 minutes and offense came at a premium.

A goal by Southern Miss freshman midfielder Olivia Durham at the 9:11 mark in the first half eventually proved to be the difference in the game. Durham was assisted by senior midfielder Hannah Abrams.
