Golden Eagles Tied for Fourth at Reunion Intercollegiate

Madison, Miss. - The Southern Miss men's golf team is 36-over par through the first two rounds to sit in a tie for fourth at the Reunion Intercollegiate. The tournament is hosted by Ole Miss and is being played at the Reunion Golf & Country Club in Madison, Miss.
Southern Miss is tied with North Florida.
Senior Rocky Cleland and redshirt junior Paul Apyan are both tied for 12th-place at eight-over par. Cleland shot round of 81 and 71, while Apyan finished with consecutive 76's.
Junior Tyler Sparks is nine-over in a tie for 20th-place, opening with a 76, then shooting a 77. Redshirt freshman Freddie Janneck shot rounds of 79 and 77 to sin 12-over par in a tie for 36th-place, and junior Wes Carter is tied for 70th-place after rounds of 80 and 86.
No. 29 LSU is in the lead at 20-over par, three shots ahead of No. 19 Arkansas. Vanderbilt is in third-place at 26th-place. Southern Miss and North Florida are tied for fourth. No. 30 Ole Miss is in sixth-place at 38-over par. Auburn is in 39th-place in seventh-place.
UNC-Greensboro is in eighth-place at 45-over par, followed by Mississippi State and UAB (+25), Southeastern Louisiana (+52), Memphis (+58), South Alabama and Louisiana Tech (+65), and Jackson State (+74).
The final round begins tomorrow at 8 a.m. from the first and 10th tees.
