HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Southern Miss men's golf returns to action at the seventh annual Blessings Collegiate Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. Arkansas is hosting the three-day tournament at Blessings Golf Club, starting Saturday, Oct. 3, through Monday, Oct. 5.

The Golden Eagles join a nine-team field consisting of Little Rock, Oral Roberts, Kansas State, Nebraska, Middle Tennessee, North Texas, UNC Greensboro and Arkansas. At the seventh annual Blessings Collegiate Invitational, Southern Miss marks its debut, with Kansas State returning for its third appearance. North Texas and UNC Greensboro make their second appearances.

The black and gold are riding a dominant finish in Wisconsin, with freshman John Markow earning the Goat Hill Individual Championship and sophomore Jake Moffitt earning the 2026 Badger Invitational Individual Championship, leading the way for the Golden Eagles to take home the team title.

Head coach Eddie Brescher is traveling with a roster of five: seniors Benjamin Fernandez and Supakorn Amornchaichan, freshman Franco Fernandez, Moffitt and Markow. Benjamin Fernandez, Moffitt and Markow have all won an individual title this season, marking the first time since the 2022-23 season the Golden Eagles have won three individual titles in a season.

Blessings Golf Club was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and later renovated by Kyle Phillips. The course spans 7,900 yards with difficult slopes and a U.S. Golf Association course rating of 80.9. The tournament includes both a men's and women's bracket, with the men teeing off on the back nine to open play.
