 Myreon Sartin was added to the track and field coaching staff in September of 2023. As a student-athlete, Sartin achieved a personal best of 2.05 meters in the high jump and received indoor and outdoor All-Conference honors in 2008 and 2009. He earned his bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies.
Following his collegiate career, Sartin pursued his passion for coaching jumps. He has been the head track and field coach for Tylertown High School since February 2014. Among his many accomplishments, he was honored as the Mississippi Class 3A Boy's Head Track and Field Coach of the Year four times, most recently in 2022 and 2023. Additionally, he received certifications for the USATF Level One and USA Weightlifting Sports Performance.

seven State Championships, two as an assistant coach and five as a head coach in 2014-2019, 2022, and 2023 (Tylertown HS).
