2023 (C-Jr): Made 15 appearances, including 14 starts for the Golden Eagles…Posted a 3-2 record with a 4.86 ERA…Ended with 72 strikeouts and only 22 walks…Garnered his first win against Dallas Baptist (3/4) in which he threw a career-best 7 1/3 innings to go along with a career-high 11 strikeouts, giving up two walks and four hits in a 2-1 home victory, earning him Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week honors…Defeated Valparaiso (3/11) in his next outing, giving up three runs over seven innings with seven strikeouts and only two walks on seven hits in an 8-3 contest…Had five straight starts from March 4-April 1 in which he tossed at least five innings in each start…Added nine strikeouts in a five-inning win at ULM (5/14), giving up two runs on four hits with no walks…Finished second in the Sun Belt Conference in strikeouts looking with 29…Ended season with a three-inning performance in his only relief outing against Tennessee (6/12), allowing a run on a hit with three strikeouts in a no decision…Had five or more strikeouts in eight starts…Named to the President’s List selection for the Spring 2023 and Fall 2022 semesters.
