2023 (Jr.): One of two Golden Eagles to start in all 66 games during the year…Batted .317 with 17 doubles, three triples, seven home runs and 51 RBI…Hit at bats (284) and hits (90) were the most by a Golden Eagle in a season since 2017, while his stolen base total of 23 was the most since the 1998 campaign…Participated in the 2023 MLB Draft Combine…Had a season-best 10-game hitting streak and finished the year hitting safely in his last six games, going 9x27 (.333) with a double, a triple and 4 RBI over that stretch…Finished third in the country in sacrifice flies with nine…Hit all seven homers over a 15-game stretch, as he started that with a homer at Coastal Carolina (4/23) to lead off the game…It was the first leadoff homer in a game since Carson Paetow did it against LSU (6/5) last season…Enjoyed a two-homer game at ULM (5/13) and hit round-trippers in back-to-back games twice, the first coming versus Tulane (4/25) after this season’s first homer at CCU and then again at home versus Louisiana on May 18-19…Hit in the leadoff spot the entire season…Earned the No. 1 spot on the D1Baseball.com’s Top 50 Junior College Impact Players prior to the season…A member of the Fall 2022 semester Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
Panola College: Played the last two seasons at Panola (Texas) College, where he compiled a .391 average with 11 home runs and 67 RBI over his two-year, 90-game career…He also added 36 stolen bases at Panola, while walking 46 times and fanning just 54…Averaged .433 with seven homers and 49 RBI with 20 stolen bases during his sophomore season…Named Region 14 Player of the Year…Went to the MLB Draft League for collegiate players last summer, where he notched a .371 average with four homers, 22 RBI and 25 stolen bases…Averaged .328 with four homers and 18 RBI in 39 games as a freshman.
High School: A unanimous district 24-6A first-team selection as sophomore…Recognized as Texas High School Coaches Association Academic All-State honorable mention in 2019…Also lettered in football.
