Baseball Set to Play Mississippi State in Fall Exhibition Game in Biloxi

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss baseball team will play a fall exhibition game against in-state foe Mississippi State, Saturday, Oct. 10, at Keesler Federal Park in Biloxi, as part of the Hanock Whitney Coast Classic. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
Ticket pricing starts at $24 for students and Biloxi Shucker Season Ticket Members in the reserved level, and $26 for the general public. Tickets are on sale here.
"We are looking forward to playing Mississippi State on the coast this fall," said fourth-year Southern Miss baseball coach Christian Ostrander. "We expect a tremendous crowd for this contest as it will give both fan bases a glimpse on seeing each team prior to next spring."
This will be the lone outside exhibition contest the Golden Eagles are slated to play this fall.
The first official Golden Eagle fall practice is set for Sept. 21 and will run for six weeks, concluding with the annual Fall Intrasquad World Series. That will be a best-of-five series.
