2017 (Jr.): Named first-team All-Conference USA (pitcher)…Appeared in 23 games, moving into starting rotation in final month of season…Made six starts, going 4-2…Finished 6-2 with 3.36 ERA…Went career-long seven innings in first career start versus Florida Atlantic (5/5), allowed only two hits, no runs while walking two, striking out three and earned the C-USA Pitcher of the Week award (5/8) for that outing…An audition of sorts the previous weekend, when he 6 2/3 innings in relief, allowing three runs on eight hits, walking four, striking out four at Middle Tennessee (4/28)…Went seven innings in a win at UTSA (5/18); allowed three runs on seven hits, walking one, striking out three…Registered first career win vs. FIU (4/8) with three innings of scoreless relief with three strikeouts…Picked up second win with 4 2/3 innings of relief at Rice (4/16), allowing a run on six hits, while walking two and striking out two…Named to Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2017 Spring semester and 2016 Fall semester.
