2024 (So.): Made a team-high tying 27 appearances with a pair of starts to register a 10-2 record with seven saves…His win and save total were team bests…Fanned 82 and walked just 18 in 65 1/3 innings to go with a 3.58 ERA…Tied for No. 12 nationally in wins…Earned ABCA All-South Regional honors as a relief pitcher…His second start of year came in an elimination contest in the NCAA Knoxville Regional against Indiana in which he limited the Hoosiers to a run on four hits and two walks with a career-high eight strikeouts over seven innings to earn a victory…Named the Sun Belt Conference Most Outstanding Player by going 2-0 with a save, which included a win in the championship game over Georgia Southern…Threw 5 1/3 innings and allowed no runs on four hits with a walk and five strikeouts while opponents hit .190 off of him in three games…Threw two scoreless frames against Georgia Southern (5/26) in the final with a hit and a strikeout…Had saves in four consecutive appearances coming against Arkansas State (5/10), Ole Miss (5/14), and Texas State (5/17-18) in consecutive games…Went five innings over that stretch in which he did not allow an earned run (one unearned), while giving up three hits and a walk with seven strikeouts over that span…Got out of the Ole Miss game on six pitches over an inning of work with a strikeout…Went 10 1/3 innings from May 10-26, over seven appearances, without allowing an earned run.
2023 (Fr.): Pitched in 12 games, including one start…Posted a 0-1 record with a 11.57 ERA, in which he fanned 15 and walked just four…Only start came at Ole Miss (3/7) in which he gave up two runs on two hits with a walk and two strikeouts over two innings to suffer the loss in his only decision of the season…Fanned a season-high three batters in his debut versus New Orleans (2/21) and Old Dominion (4/6) in the first game of a doubleheader…Threw a season-high two innings on three different occasions…A member of the Fall 2022 semester Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
High School: Played at Starkville Academy, which captured 30 victories and finished in the North State championship for the third-straight time…Pitched and played catcher, where he was an all-district performer his senior season…Played 38 games and posted a .320 average with eight doubles, seven home runs and 34 RBI…Added a .610 slugging percentage and a .504 on-base percentage…Threw 13 1/3 innings over 10 appearances with 1-2 record and three saves…Had opportunity to pitch in the Southeast Collegiate League during the summer and allowed just two runs, three walks with 22 strikeouts and a 1.08 ERA over 16 2/3 innings.
