Prep: Lettered five years in baseball and four in football at Sumrall High School…Played for Larry Knight in baseball…Dropped 2019 Class 4A state title series to New Hope…Posted a .327 average with six doubles, two triples, 12 home runs, including two grand slams for the Bobcats his senior campaign…Hit .377 as a sophomore with hit seven homers, and then followed that up with a .341 season and eight long balls as a junior….Collected 1,884 yards passing and 15 TDs as a junior quarterback for the squad…Missed his senior football season with an injury…Named Perfect Game Preseason All-American selection…Earned first-team all-state for Class 4A by the Mississippi Association of Coaches and by the Clarion-Ledger…Was a second-team MaxPreps All-American…Earned Region 7 all-district and Pine Belt Sport all-area team his last three seasons…Earned second-team and first-team all-district honors for football during his career…Played in the Mississippi Crossroad Diamond Club All-Star game…Enjoyed an 88 and above average for all four years of high school.
