Game Schedule Altered for NCAA Baseball Hattiesburg Regional Opening Day

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Due to expected rain showers in the Pine Belt area Friday afternoon, a change has been made in the schedule for the opening day of the NCAA Hattiesburg Regional. The start time of game No. 1 featuring top-seed Southern Miss and No. 4 seed Little Rock has been pushed up an hour to 12 noon CT.
The second game of the day, No. 3 Jacksonville State and No. 2 Virginia, remains slated for a 6 p.m. CT first pitch.
Parking will begin at 9 a.m., with the Pete Taylor Park gates set to open at 10 a.m.
Saturday's schedule will also stay the same with the losers of Friday's matchups slated to be played at 3 p.m. CT, with the winner's game set for 8 p.m. CT.
