Nichols Notches Sun Belt Weekly Honors

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Track and Field's Tyler Nichols was named Sun Belt Field Athlete of the Week after his performances at the Georgia Tech Invitational, announced by the conference office Wednesday morning.

Nichols earned a win in the long jump event with a mark of 8.10m to place third in the nation. Additionally, he earned a runner-up finish in the high jump event with a mark of 2.15m.

Nicholls and the rest of the Golden Eagles are back in action this weekend at the Samford Invitational on Saturday, April 25th in Birmingham, Alabama.
