Men’s Golf Finishes Regular Season at Mossy Oak Collegiate

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Men's golf heads to West Point, Miss., fresh off the third straight second place finish, competing in the Mossy Oak Collegiate, hosted by Mississippi State on April 13-14, to wrap up the 2025-26 regular season.
Southern Miss is competing in a 19-team field that features 10 teams ranked in the top 75 in the nation. Riding off a second place finish from the Seminole Intercollegiate to tally the sixth top three finish of the year, the Golden Eagles sit at 67th in the nation.
The black and gold have Matthew Javier (Toronto, Ontario), Jake Moffitt (Ripley, Miss.), Benjamin Fernandez (Asuncion, Paraguay), Supakorn Amornchaichan (Pattaya City, Thailand) and Walker Wise (Tupelo, Miss.) making up the travel squad. Javier enters the collegiate off a third place finish with teammate Amornchaichan within the top five. Moffitt holds the most rounds of par or better (17) on the season.
The collegiate tees off round one at 8:00 a.m. in a shotgun style start on Monday, April 13, with round two slated for a 1:00 p.m. start time. Round three will be played on Tuesday, April 14, in another shotgun style start, starting at 8:00 a.m.
Mossy Oak is a 7,212-yard course that features 95 sand bunkers, rolling terrain and significant elevation changes. The course was designed by Gil Hanse, converting a former dairy farm into a golf course in the rolling hills of Mississippi.
