Men’s Tennis Heads to Baton Rouge to Face LSU

BATON ROUGE, La. – Southern Miss men's tennis (1-8) is set to face LSU (8-7) in a 5 p.m. match Sunday at the LSU Tennis Complex.

The Golden Eagles are coming off a narrow 4-3 loss to Oral Roberts last week. Olle Noltorp and Niklas Jensen each notched straight-set singles victories for Southern Miss. Noltorp won 6-3, 6-3, while Jensen secured a 6-4, 6-3 victory. Charlie Brady also earned a hard-fought win, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4). The Golden Eagles picked up a doubles win on court three, as Brady and Ritabrata Sarkar cruised to a 6-1 victory.

LSU returns home after competing in the UTR 20K tournament in Atlanta and falling 4-3 to Ole Miss in Oxford. Before facing the Golden Eagles, the Tigers will take on Georgia at noon Sunday.
