Navet Cruises to Top 10 Finish at Tulane Classic

NEW ORLEANS, La. --Â Ragini Navet finished in the top 10 for the second time this season after claiming seventh place at the Tulane Classic in New Orleans, La.Â
Navet used another two-over par round to finish eight strokes behind Josefin Widal of LSU, who claimed the overall individual championship. The Southern Miss sophomore had three birdies today to bring her tournament total to eight — she has had a hole-in-one during Monday's second round.Â
Fernanda Gorostiaga shot an 11-over par today to finish in a tie for 43rd. She had one birdie during today's final round to bring her three-day total to four. The Golden Eagles now turn their attention to the Bama Beach Bash in Gulf Shores, Ala. The three-day event starts on Sunday, March 16, and will run through Tuesday, March 18.Â
