
Women's Golf Wraps Up Day One of Bama Beach Bash

GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Southern Miss women's golf team ended the opening day of the Bama Beach Bash in seventh place after firing a 319 as a team.
Momoka Ando led the charge on the individual leaderboard with a two-over 74 to sit in a tie for fourth through 18 holes. Louise Cuyvers followed Ando's team-high round with a five-over 77 and is tied for 17th at Gulf Shores Country Club.
Playing as individuals, Jacee Fields and Ragini Navet both fired a six-over 78 to play themselves into a tie for 22nd. Meanwhile, Taylor Trible is tied for 42nd after shooting a 10-over 82. Elena Melich and Alma Betoret are in 56th and 62nd, respectively.
