Men’s Tennis Returns Home to Host Nicholls

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss Men's Tennis is set to host Nicholls at noon on Sunday afternoon in Hattiesburg. Warmups begin at 11 a.m.

The Golden Eagles return to their home courts after falling short in a 0-4 match at New Orleans. In singles play, Olle Noltorp was in a tight battle at Line 1, leading through two sets before the match was ruled unfinished. Ritabrata Sarkar also pushed his opponent to a tiebreak in the first set at Line 3 but was unable to finish before play was called. Southern Miss continued to show its grit in doubles, where the Line 2 pairing of Saheb Sodhi and Ritabrata Sarkar were locked in a close contest before it went unfinished.

Southern Miss last faced Samford in 2023. Returners Pasawee Reansuwong and Saheb Sodhi competed at Line 3 doubles with a score of 5-2 match that went unfinished.
