Emme Bates Named Sun Belt Runner of the Week

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Emme Bates was announced Wednesday as the Sun Belt Women's Runner of the Week.
Bates led the Golden Eagles to a team top-ten finish at the Crimson Classic over the weekend in Tuscaloosa with her 36th place finish. She completed the 6K race with a time of 21:00.4, being the first to finish the course of all Sun Belt runners that competed. Those teams include South Alabama, Troy and ULM.
